Stride

FAQ

1. What if I don't have enough time to finish a piece of Stride® gum?
That's the problem. No one needs a second piece. Please spit out your first piece even if you're not finished enjoying the flavor. We've heard it's good luck. But remember, never ever litter. That's guaranteed bad juju.

2. OK. But if I choose to just hold onto the piece, can I continue chewing it later?
You can re-chew Stride at a later time, but from a social skills point of view, you may want to rethink this option.

3. Where is Stride gum made?
All of our delicious flavors are made here, in the Stride factory. Not much is being produced lately due to the flavor lasting so long, but things will pick up soon. Our president Donald has been saving a fortune cookie that predicts success being right around the corner. It's really just a matter of time.

4. The gum pack is so fancy looking. Is it only for special occasions?
No. Stride is the gum for whatever you're doing. From video games, to attending international galas – the pack has been deemed appropriate for all occasions.

5. The big "S" would make a great necklace for clubbin'. Can I get one?
Good question. Presently there are no plans to make jewelry. But if we don't start receiving some gum orders soon we may be forced to. If you have any other ideas, drop us a note at (DIRECT URL FOR “give us your ideas”)

6. My friend asked me to rip the pack and give him half. Was this the intention?
Our pack can be conveniently separated so it can be shared with a friend. However, that is totally up to the rightful pack owner and we take no responsibility in the decision you make.

7. Why 14 pieces?
We've always believed in giving people the most for their money. It's why we invented unbelievably long lasting flavor. It's also why we put 14 pieces of gum in one pack. Unfortunately for us the flavor lasts so long, 14 pieces might as well be a lifetime supply. A two piece pack. That would have been a smarter idea.

8. Why are the Stride factory workers good at so many things?

Our workers are the most talented gum makers in the world. But with no orders really coming in, their fine-tuned minds need to refocus on something. If music disappeared in 1782, do you think Mozart would have just sat around all day? No way. He would have gotten really good at juggling or invented the internet. Genius demands stimulation.

9. If this gum lasts so long, doesn't that mean I should need to buy less?
No duh. We'd be screwed. We'd lose our jobs. Our cars. Our houses. You wouldn't want that to happen would you? We're nice people. So spit out that piece of gum you're still chewing and buy more.

10. I'm having a hard time finding Stride gum, can you help?
There's tons of it sitting around our factory. If you do need a little help finding Stride, we've set up a hotline. Call 1-800-524-2854 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. CST, provide your zip code, and we'll let you know what store in your area carries Stride gum.

11. Is Xylitol safe for dogs?
No. Dogs don't quite get the concept of chewing gum and tend to swallow everything. The long lasting flavor is totally lost on them. Similar to how chocolate is safe for us to consume but not for dogs, Xylitol (an ingredient often used in sugarless gum) is toxic for dogs. However, products containing Xylitol, including sugar free chewing gums and candies as well as products such as toothpaste, have a 30 year history of safe human use in the US and worldwide. Certain things should just be shared with your human friends. We encourage people to seek the counsel of their veterinarians about how to keep their dogs safe and healthy.
